Alekai (Alec) Finn is an eighteen-year-old mer with a passion for fashion and eyes for the young heir, Wadood Sepat. His love of adventure and desire to blend in with his pod only add to the complexities of a growing mergup, forcing Alec to hide behind the crafted fabrics of his outfits and mask the unique glow of his colo-changing tail and eyes. As if becoming a young mergup was not challenging enough, Alec must choose between his heart's pull and his loyalty and duty to his sisters.
